Summary

Twenty-Fifth Bam must journey skyward in a mysterious tower if he has any chance of reuniting with his best friend Rachel, even if that means facing his own death。

Before mysteriously disappearing into the tower gates before his very eyes, Rachel cautions Bam to forget all about her。 Unwilling to lose her, Bam enters the Tower completely surrounded by Shinsu — a divine and magical water, at his own peril。

The Tower itself contains multitudes of floors as vast as continents, each one with its unique geography, language and culture。 Confronted by skillful tests each step of the way, Bam meets powerful guardians and otherworldly environments, making his quest to the top no easy feat。

Beginning his journey, Bam is met by Headon, the first floor guardian and caretaker of the Tower who explains the rules of the Tower。 At each level Bam is constantly tested for his strength, dexterity and wit。 With help from fellow travelers and unlikely villains, Bam makes both allies and enemies in order to find Rachel; however her intentions of reconnecting with him become unclear as misinformation about her whereabouts do not add up。 Behind each ascension is a revelation about their friendship, revealing a much deeper, darker secret。

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC。 Tower of God was a super fun and quick read。 As someone who wasn’t previously familiar with this story, I was somewhat confused initially, but that didn’t stop me from being immediately drawn into the world that this book created。 I loved the idea of the different floors with different challenges that the main character has to go through, to find the person he is searching for。 I’m also really intrigued by some of the characters, and I can’t wa Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC。 Tower of God was a super fun and quick read。 As someone who wasn’t previously familiar with this story, I was somewhat confused initially, but that didn’t stop me from being immediately drawn into the world that this book created。 I loved the idea of the different floors with different challenges that the main character has to go through, to find the person he is searching for。 I’m also really intrigued by some of the characters, and I can’t wait to find out more about them in the next volumes。 。。。more

4/5 stars I received an ARC of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review。 Twenty-Fifth Baam only has one reason for climbing the tower: to find his friend, Rachel。 Forcing his way in after her, he's left to face many challenges to make his way up the tower。 This volume is a little confusing。 I don't entirely understand what's going on, but I've kept up okay so far。 Hopefully, more things will be explained as the story continues。 People seem to really love this series, and it was popular e 4/5 stars I received an ARC of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review。 Twenty-Fifth Baam only has one reason for climbing the tower: to find his friend, Rachel。 Forcing his way in after her, he's left to face many challenges to make his way up the tower。 This volume is a little confusing。 I don't entirely understand what's going on, but I've kept up okay so far。 Hopefully, more things will be explained as the story continues。 People seem to really love this series, and it was popular enough to get an anime adaptation。 I don't really get the hype, but again, I'm hoping volume 2 has more answers。 Our main character, Baam, is a little naive。 I don't trust any of the other characters。 The floors and challenges are interesting, and they're the main reason I'm going to continue with the series。 Overall, this series has an interesting premise, but nothing has really sold me on the story yet。 If volume 2 doesn't blow me away, I don't think I'll continue。 There's a lot of potential for a great story, so I'm hoping it lives up to the hype。 。。。more

TW/CW:mentions of suicide , blood & gore, violence First and foremost, thank you to wattpadbooks and netgalley for the e-book。 I’m so used to reading from right to left, so going through this was a bit challenging at first。 Despite its simple art style, the premise is interesting and the world-building is majestic。 It’s text-heavy and the plot is quite complex; I need more time to grasp the terminology。 I do not feel any kind of attachment to the characters yet, but I enjoy the light comedy。 I h TW/CW:mentions of suicide , blood & gore, violence First and foremost, thank you to wattpadbooks and netgalley for the e-book。 I’m so used to reading from right to left, so going through this was a bit challenging at first。 Despite its simple art style, the premise is interesting and the world-building is majestic。 It’s text-heavy and the plot is quite complex; I need more time to grasp the terminology。 I do not feel any kind of attachment to the characters yet, but I enjoy the light comedy。 I have taken a liking to the crocodile; I hope that he won't die。 I will definitely be continuing this one。 I am excited to find out more about The Tower and the different challenges Bam will face as he goes through each floor。 It definitely has a lot of potential。 My only complain is that the narration can be a tad hard for me to follow。This series is originally a Webtoon but the physical copy is coming November 22nd。 。。。more

He may not have a choice if he ever wants to see Rachel again, but going through this Wonderland is going to take more than an ability to play croquet if he's going to survive。 。。。more

It's hard to be entirely objective with this rating because I realized early on into my read that I had started watching the first episode of the anime on Crunchyroll and never finished it。 That said my read sparked enough interest that I'm probably gonna pick up the anime again but I'm not expecting any groundbreaking storylines either way。 I do think subsequent volumes might pick up in rating for me once we'd get past all the foundational worldbuilding。 It's hard to be entirely objective with this rating because I realized early on into my read that I had started watching the first episode of the anime on Crunchyroll and never finished it。 That said my read sparked enough interest that I'm probably gonna pick up the anime again but I'm not expecting any groundbreaking storylines either way。 I do think subsequent volumes might pick up in rating for me once we'd get past all the foundational worldbuilding。 。。。more

Sadly art is not great in the first season of the webtoon but it improves so much already in season 2 (which is actually volume 9, I guess, of the printed version)。Anyways don’t let the bad art stop you from having a read of one of the best webtoons out there。Story is complex, great setting and lots of characters (deeply explored) with a nice growth。

The concept was interesting, but I felt like we didn't get enough explanation。 Like, how does Bam know about the Tower? What kind of place did Bam come from? How did Rachel literally bring light to his world? Tower of God has a interesting plot, where it revolves around Baam, a character who wants to find a girl named Rachel。 He joins others to get through the floors of the tower by going through tests such as fights or missions。 It is also said that if someone manages to get to the top, any wish could be granted。 This in fact, has me intrigued because I’m personally not that great at predicting the outcome, so I’m intrigued to know who would get to the top or maybe something unexpected would happen。 Tower of God has a interesting plot, where it revolves around Baam, a character who wants to find a girl named Rachel。 He joins others to get through the floors of the tower by going through tests such as fights or missions。 It is also said that if someone manages to get to the top, any wish could be granted。 This in fact, has me intrigued because I’m personally not that great at predicting the outcome, so I’m intrigued to know who would get to the top or maybe something unexpected would happen。 In addition, my interest in this came from watching the anime that was made for it。 It also has unique characters and I immediately knew that one of the characters would be quite popular among the fans。 Overall, this was entertaining and fun to read。 I love the characters and I’m looking forwards to their development and what friendships or alliances will form among them! 。。。more

Just a face? His design, while creative, was hard to express without motion at times what was really going on。If you are a fan of action-packed storytelling, a colorful cast of characters, clever bouts of humor sprinkled through, then this series is for you。 Wattpad Books has done an excellent job adapting the material for this volume, and it excites me for the future releases as they come! 。。。more

Tower of God is another reason why i loooooove Webtoons。 I think what’s so special about a Webtoon is how freelance the creators get with their stories。 They aren’t producing through a company’s thin needle of approval to get published, they literally just upload it! I quickly fell in love with the characters, and I honestly haven’t experienced another story with so many well structured “tests” (ie Hunter x Hunter, Hunger Games, Naruto chunin exams)。 Not to mention the fantasy of me having the queerxoding throughout >:) khun is sooo gay。 Also random but, I love the idea of Baam, the main character, starting out as such a simple dude。 It’s kind of funny to me, because usually with this type of fantasy story you get a really bright personality, deeply flawed character who grows over time。 But Baam, he seems so static for a while … and slowly devolves into an inverted prodigy。 Idk, my fingers are getting tired, but love this series, S2 is the bomb, and I can’t wait for the next anime Season to come out!( The only reason I don’t give 5 Stars is bc that is reserved for one piece。 Heheh。 ) 。。。more
